Matt Atwell is the Research Associate and master of Game of Thrones' knowledge at Civic Enterprises, where he provides research support on a variety of different projects. Matt is a recent graduate of Saint Joseph's University. When he was a child, Matt dreamt of growing up to be a master escape artist just like Harry Houdini. Some of Matt's friends began calling him "Dobby" after learning that he was a stunt double for the beloved House Elf in the Harry Potter Series.
Jennifer DePaoli is the Senior Education Advisor and Office Bracket Manager at Civic Enterprises. In her role, she conducts education policy research, consults on major education projects, and has co-authored the 2014 and 2015 Building a Grad Nation report, as well as other briefs and reports. She also does media outreach, including a memorable interview on C-SPAN with Steve Scully, whom Jon Oliver dubbed “The Most Patient Man on Television.” Prior to joining the Civic Enterprises team, Jennifer spent time accumulating multiple degrees (and significant debt) and teaching 5th and 7th graders. She is a proUD Dayton Flyer and an avid sports fan, cheering on her beloved Pittsburgh Penguins and the Fighting Irish, often with a little too much enthusiasm. Jennifer spends much of her spare time walking her 9-year-old lab mix, Charlie, to all the historic spots in DC. She also loves reading, Twitter, spin, yoga, watching great (and not-so-great) TV shows, and sleeping.
